Michael Ohkura is a family-medicine physician passionate about integrating preventive care with outdoor well-being. As secretary, he supports the foundation’s governance and helps shape initiatives that connect health education with nature-centered experiences for families and underserved groups.

Taehoon Kim has been a committed volunteer with the California NatureCare Foundation since its inception. As one of the founding members, he has played a key role in shaping and supporting the organization’s mission to promote wellness, community, and connection through nature-based experiences.
A Registered Nurse, Taehoon brings a deep compassion for healing and service to all aspects of his work. His contributions span event coordination, outreach, and on-site support, always guided by a spirit of care, inclusivity, and dedication to holistic well-being. Taehoon continues to be an integral part of the Foundation’s growth and community impact.
Gary Moshkovich coordinates and leads California NatureCare’s retreats, weaving together nature, mindfulness, and community connection. His leadership ensures each retreat is thoughtfully planned to nurture personal growth and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
